Just resolved it! Value does not fall within the expected range error when printing the Net Book Value report in Fixed Assets Network Edition and running Sage 300 version 2025

Suggested

Hi,

After I posted the below question I figured out the answer so I will share this in case someone else has the same issue. Since I can print out of FAS on the server I copied the Crystal Reports for .NET Framework 4.0 to the workstation under C:\Program Files (x86)\SAP BusinessObjects after renaming the original folder and now I can print in Sage Fixed Assets Net Book Value Report.

I have upgraded a client's Fixed Assets Network Edition from version 2019.1 to version 2024.1. I have upgraded their Sage 300 to version 2025. When I try to print a Net Book Value report out of Fixed Assets I get the error " Value does not fall within the expected range" I tried Solution ID:  221924660118150 a few times and it did not work. When I click on ok I then receive the error "Error occurred while generating report" The Fixed Assets locks up and I have to end it in Task Manager.

I have Sage 300 version 2025 and Sage Fixed Assets v2024.1 installed on server and I can print the Net Book Value report there so it is only on the workstations.

Has anyone else had this issue and what did you do different to resolve it.

Thank you!

    Hello Dana,

If you updated the Sage 100 to the latest version recently, that would explain the issue. Sage 100 2025 updated their Crystal Runtime to SP34 and the SFA is still running Crystal Runtime SP30. The short-term answer is to run SFA reports on a client which does not have Sage 100 installed on it.

The good news is we will be updating to Crystal Runtime SP34 with the 2026.0 version release and this issue will go away then.
