Manually Adjust Current Accumulated Depreciation

Question

Can I manually adjust the Accumulated Depreciation on a fixed asset? I reset it back to placed in service and now when I depreciate it, I come up with a different number and I need to match the accountant.

 Yes, it is always possible to enter a Beginning date an force and amount of depreciation on an asset. See How to force depreciation for more information.
