Hi- I have an asset one asset on the books that needs divided into two. We sold part of our property, but kept the other part. We have this on our books as one asset. How do I remove only the amount related to the sale, but keep the balance?

Hello Vikki, 
 We have a process here: How to split a bulk asset which will do that. 
 In short, you replicate the asset 2, inactivate the original, and then edit to 2 replicated assets to have the correct value on them. It only really gets complicated if there is Beginning Information already in the asset.
