Yes this is strongly recommended to install the SFA client onto a workstation that is in the same network (LAN) as the application server and database server are located for use. Install the client to this kiosk workstation and have the end users remotely access it and have the end user stop using the SFA client installed on their laptops that they have at home and using for their work.

 Can the workstation be set up for more than one SFA user using the same workstation?  Will the license seat manager accept more than one user on a workstation?

The number of user licenses are based on where the application gets installed and if this machine has a static name then it will just change the user name listed who used it and when. You can have many users connect however no concurrent usage as the licenses are named user licenses.
