Happy New Year!
Sage HRMS Updates You Should Know About
We’ve rolled out a few helpful updates across Sage HRMS and Employee Self Service. Here’s a quick overview of what’s changed and why it matters.
Employee Number Fix
An issue has been resolved where the next Employee Number did not align between the Sage HRMS desktop version and the Premium web version. With this fix in place, the Employee Number field will now correctly display the next highest number when the Numeric Employee ID option is set to True in the desktop version. This helps keep employee records aligned and reduces manual adjustments.
Employee Self Service: W-4 Updates
The 2026 W-4 form is now available in Sage HRMS Employee Self Service. Going forward, only the current reporting year’s W-4 form will be supported.
The 2026 form also includes a new field in Step 4: Other Adjustments:
- (c) Extra withholding – Enter any additional tax you want withheld each pay period.
Employee Self Service: W-2 Update
To support tax changes related to the One Big Beautiful Bill Act(OBBBA), the W-2 form available in Employee Self Service has been updated. When applicable, the following codes will now appear in Box 14 of the 2025 W-2:
- OBBBTP
- OBBBTT
Tax Update
This release includes U.S. Payroll updates to support the One Big Beautiful Bill (OBBB) Act for No Tax on Tips and No Tax on Overtime.
This release also includes state and local legislative tax updates for certain U.S. entities.
