Language Translation Support (Spanish and French Canadian)
We are pleased to announce the Sage HRMS Web Employee Self Service now include Spanish and French Canadian Language Support.
Employee Self Service (Web)
- All non-data UI elements, labels, and navigation are translated
- Individual users can select their preferred language setting
- Language preference is set through Employee Self Service > Change Logon
- English remains the default language until a user selects otherwise
Future updates will expand language capabilities, including global default language settings, mobile support and administrative-side support.
Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) Enhancements
This update also includes two new enhancements, based on customer feedback, to the Mutli-Factor Authentication tools available in Sage HRMS.
Trusted Devices (Safe Machines)
After our initial launch, may users requested the ability to ‘remember’ machines, allowing them to authenticate less often.
With this enhancement, Administrators now have access to additional MFA settings and controls, allowing them to:
- Enable or disable trusted device functionality
- Configure trusted device duration (1–30 days)
- Invalidate trusted device tokens at the organizational level
Updating these settings will allow users to:
- Mark devices as trusted to reduce repeated authentication prompts
- Manage and remove trusted device cookies at the individual level
MFA Configuration by User
Another frequent request was the ability to define Multi-Factor Authentication type by user, including omitting specific users from authentication.
With this enhancement, Administrators can now:
- Define MFA type at the individual user level
- Allow users to opt out of MFA
- Override global MFA settings on an individual user level
- Search and sort users based on MFA settings
Expression Builder Upgrade (Desktop)
This release includes the modernization and upgrade of the Expression Builder in the desktop version of Sage HRMS.
This update:
- Upgrades the Expression Builder in Sage HRMS Desktop from Foxpro to SQL
- Will automatically convert all existing Foxpro expressions into SQL expressions upon customer install
- Will produce a list of conversion output, including any failed conversions, to a .CSV file for review
Users should review the failed conversions and correct or delete them in a timely manner to avoid production issues.
