New Release Announcement: Sage HRMS Q3 Update 2026

The Sage HRMS Q3 2026 update is here.

With this release, we continue expanding the premium web version of Sage HRMS with new user interfaces and enhancements designed to make everyday HRMS administration easier and more accessible from the web.

The release introduces Ask Sage HRMS, expands language options in Employee Self Service, and includes important payroll and compliance updates.

What’s included in the latest release:

Ask Sage HRMS

Ask Sage HRMS replaces Sage Ally in the desktop version of Sage HRMS.

Powered by the Sage Semantic Engine, Ask Sage HRMS provides a smarter, more responsive way to find information and get answers while working in Sage HRMS.

ESS Default Language Support

Organizations using the premium version of Sage Employee Self Service can now select a default language for employees.

For organizations with more non-English-speaking employees, this makes it easier to provide an Employee Self Service experience that better fits their workforce.

New Web User Interfaces

The premium web version of Sage HRMS continues to expand with new interfaces for key administrative processes, including:

  • User Security
  • Mass Update
  • Mass Update Pay Rate
  • Mass Update Pay Step Rate
  • Mass Update Step Rate Service
  • Global Attachments
  • Criteria Table Codes

These enhancements bring more HRMS administration into the web experience, helping reduce the need to switch between the web and desktop versions.

Expression Builder in the Web

Expression Builder is now available in the premium web version of Sage HRMS.

Administrators can manage expressions directly from the web, eliminating the need to manage them in the desktop version.

Compliance Made Easy

This release includes state and local legislative tax updates for certain U.S. entities, helping support ongoing payroll compliance.

The release also includes the 2027 version of Sage HRMS Payroll.

In addition, the VETS-4212 form has been updated to the 2026 version to support current federal reporting requirements.
