How do I edit an employee ID number that was entered incorrectly?

The Change Employee ID process is available if you use Sage HRMS without payroll. This is because the employee ID is used to connect the payroll and HR databases. 
 There is no function within Sage HRMS with Payroll to change an employee's ID. 
 Depending on the circumstance, you can terminate the employee with the incorrect employee number and re-hire them with the correct employee number. However, that incorrect ID will no longer be used. 
 Or restore the databases to before the employee was added and Add the New employee with the correct ID.
