Sage ESS Mobile App - Issue with Apple users

SUGGESTED

A user is having an unusual issue with the Sage ESS Mobile App.  It appears to be isolated to Apple devices/the Apple Store.  Employees are getting a message when trying to download the app there is a new/updated download for them.  It then spins and won't respond.  After further research, this appears to be related to the following.  We cannot determine a pattern more than what is noted below.  To our knowledge they are following the correct download process and procedure.

  • Apple users only.
  • New Users only, meaning they are new hires trying to download the app and create a user account.

    Hello,

Based on apple forums they suggest trying the following:

If your iPhone App Store app spins indefinitely or crashes while trying to download an app, try these troubleshooting steps: Check your internet connection (Wi-Fi or cellular), ensure your device has enough storage space, and try signing out and back into the App StoreIf the issue persists, consider restarting your iPhone, updating to the latest iOS version, or contacting Apple Support.
Here's a more detailed breakdown of troubleshooting steps:
    1. Check your internet connection:
    • Ensure you have a stable Wi-Fi connection or a strong cellular signal.
    • Try turning off Wi-Fi and then turning it back on to refresh the connection.
    • If you're using a hotspot, try turning it off and reconnecting to a regular network.
    2. Check storage space:
    • Go to Settings > General > iPhone Storage to see how much space you have left.
    • If you're low on storage, delete unnecessary apps, photos, or videos to free up space.
    3. Sign out and back in:
    • Open the App Store, tap your profile icon (top left), and sign out.
    • Then, sign back in using your Apple ID.
    4. Restart your iPhone:
    • Restarting your iPhone can resolve temporary glitches.
    5. Update your software:
    • Go to Settings > General > Software Update and install any available updates.
    6. Check for payment issues:
    • Make sure your payment method on file is valid and hasn't expired.
    7. Try redownloading the app:
    • If the app was previously downloaded, try deleting it and then redownloading it from the App Store.
    8. Contact Apple Support:
