The File, Open is where you would locate and open a pre-existing template you had created previously.  If you haven't created one you would choose File, New and begin the process.

Once you get past that step and locate your source file, you select the proper selections to match your source file, row by row - which is column by column  in the source file.

Use the Help menu in TSImport for additional information and guidance.

Hey LegalBilling12345 , the best part about TSImport is that there is really no "should be" about the headers. We just take your CSV file and match the field order to the Timeslips fields that you want to import into. It's actually kind of nice, but since it is more flexible that most import programs, that also makes it a bit more complex as you have to learn how to match and build your template. The good news is that once you have it set up, you don't usually change it, but just use that same template over and over. So it is worth getting it optimal in the beginning.

I've created templates and done many imports over the years. There are a few cool things that you can do to ease that process. Give a shout if you'd like some help.
