Report by attorney by day by client

Solved

I've downloaded all slips from Timeslips Go and now one of the attorneys wants to see a report I used to do in eCenter. It showed all of his time for the month, and it was totaled by day. Does anyone know how to find that report in Timeslips Premium?

Hello  You can do those reports in Timeslips even before the data is transferred from Go.

The Daily/Weekly/Monthly Slip Totals report should give you the info you need.  Clicking OPTIONS on the report allow you to change the duration, as well as having the selection for untransferred eCenter/Go time entries to be included.

The daily slip totals works, but it doesn't total by day. I used to run it from eCenter before time was uploaded to Timeslips. He has a tendency to bill by the job, not the day ... so some of his days have 14 hours and other days have 2 hours. So we need to split those jobs up a little.

    Hello

I can't tell from your post whether you were running a detail report or a summary report in eCenter.

Do you want to see every slip, and then a total for a particular day? Or just more of a report that shows how many hours he had for each day with no details?

Hi, Nancy! Yes ... the report from eCenter showed every slip, but it was totaled by day.

That still exists as the report titled Slip Listing Simple.  You will want to change the subtotal option to include the day summary.

Looks like Roger has given you the steps/screenshot from within GO, but you could also run a Slip Listing report in your Timeslips Premium that selects filters for: a date range, and for a certain timekeeper, then click on the Sort tab to the right of the filters and sort by Transaction Date and subtotal by day.

Once you get it the way you like it, you could memorize that specific report as a variation of the Slip Listing report so that you don't have to keep setting the filter and sort every time you want the report.

    Hope this helps.
