Sending Invoices by Email - Have to Allow EVERY SINGLE EMAIL

Hello.

We had to reinstall Timeslips today from a backup because after 6 hours with our IT Dept, we learned it's not compatible with the new Outlook. So we got the old version of Outlook back.

Now, Timeslips is in the middle of emailing the bills to our client but I have to click "allow" for each email to be sent. There are HUNDREDS of them. Is there a workaround for this?

Appreciate your help!!!!!

That's a question for your IT people, but if they don't want to track down the solution, and it is a chore to do, the simple answer is to have them install the 32-bit version of Microsoft Office 365.  This is a security issue in Outlook 64-bit that does not exist in the 32-bit version.

And yes, we aren't compatible with Outlook NEW, nor is almost any 3rd party application as can be seen doing a Google search.  Microsoft is aware and is working towards a fix, but that's a whole other topic.

Removing Outlook NEW is usually a 5-minute process, and shouldn't require installation of Office 365 again.  That's an odd issue, since it was likely already there before.

They already took MO 365 off and reverted back to the old Outlook. It NEVER did this with the old outlook, was even fine when we ran last month's bills.  They tried everything they can think of today to fix it and nothing.  I had to allow every single email to be sent and it took hours.

You likely had the 32-bit version of Office installed previously, Tori.  That will be the solution now once again.

This comes from the Microsoft website (emphasis mine):

The 64-bit version is installed by default unless Microsoft 365 or Office detects you already have a 32-bit version of Microsoft 365 or Office (or a stand-alone app such as Project or Visio) installed. In this case, the 32-bit version of Microsoft 365 or Office will be installed instead.

To change from a 32-bit version to a 64-bit version or vice versa, you need to uninstall Microsoft 365 first (including any stand-alone Microsoft 365 apps you have such as Project of Visio). Once the uninstall is complete, sign in again to www.microsoft365.com and select Install apps. From the Install apps window select the language and version you want (64 or 32-bit), and then select Install. (See Install Visio or Install Project if you need to reinstall those stand-alone apps.)
