Migrating to Windows 11

Solved

Hello - I am running a desktop version of TS 2019 on a Windows PC.  I have one license - that's all I need.  When I try to run Timeslips on the new installation it tells me there aren't enough licenses - so it 'thinks' the old machine is still using it.  I saw a page that said rename Timeslips.CFG to "oldTimeslips.CFG" and I did that but that didn't fix it.  I downloaded/saved the Databasestats file so I have that information available, but I cannot run the program to enter the license information either.

Any thoughts?

Thanks in advance.

EDIT:  I figured it out - found these steps:

  1. Close Timeslips on all stations
  2. Run the Station Administrator application
*NOTE: Station Administrator is found by clicking Start, All Programs and inside the Timeslips folder
  3. Select Options, Licenses in Use
  4. Click Clear All
  5. When the Clear Active License prompt opens, click OK
  6. Click OK to confirm that the selected licenses are not in any other database, and return to the Licenses in Use dialog box
  7. Click Done
  8. Close Station Administrator, and start Timeslips.
