Question

Help - Apparently, I deleted a current invoice and can't retrieve it. 
 I had two clients with invoices that duplicated. 
 The deleted the duplicate invoice for the first client and the second invoice remained fine. 
 Then I deleted the duplicate - or what I thought was a duplicate - invoice for the second client and both invoices for the second client deleted. 
 Is there a way to retrieve the invoice for the second client?

Restoring a backup is pretty much the only way to retrieve deleted data.

Any occurrence of the word Funds generally means Timeslips has put the money in the trust/IOLTA account. If you then want to take that $ and apply it against a different client account it is a real headache. 
 Without looking at it, it is hard to say. IF you can edit the original transaction, just apply the $7.50 to a future invoice - not funds. Then use the Refund transaction to "refund" the client his $7.50. That will zero out the one account. Then go to the second client account and receive the "refund" of $7.50 on that account as a payment. 
 Does that sound consistent with what you want to do? Are there two accounts? Or is it two charges on the same account?

While you can't retrieve a deleted invoice without restoring, you might be able to print a close resemblance by using the History Bill report.
