Timeslips 2019

Suggested

Greetings. Solo attorney here - I am running Timeslips 2019 on a standalone windows OS.  Just wondering if anyone knows the cost of upgrading to the current iteration of Timeslips (2024?) ?  I have tried to find what I think should be simple to no avail.  I get directed to so many different places my head is spinning.

Thanks in advance.

, yeah, it is a bit complicated. Did you mean to be posting in the Timeslips Anywhere section? That is their new "in the cloud" option, and everything below is not applicable to Timeslips Anywhere, but to the on premise Timeslips Premium subscription model.  If you meant Timeslips Anywhere pricing, let me know.

They sell Premium in four "flavors' or tiers. We need to find out which one is most appropriate for how you use Timeslips.

All but the highest have come kind of limitation. There are lots of limitations, but I am noting the ones that I find make a difference to people who are trying to make a choice.

Starter is the lowest/cheapest tier, but:

         no Client Funds feature

         no custom fields

         no automatic rate rules

no ability to add additional licenses

no compatibility with eCenter (online slip entry)

         no electronic billing/LEDES1998B

         cannot undo multiple bills.

I don't find Starter appropriate for most people.

    Next is Standard:

limited to up to 4 users

         still No Client Funds feature

         cannot undo multiple bills.

    Next is Pro:

       . Unlimited users

         No undo multiple bills.

Last is Elite. Has no limitations.

Pro is the one I see the most folks choose because they need Client Funds, but don't want to pay the extra for Undo Multiple Bills

That said, I have had firms choose Standard or Elite, so it is not a super bright line thing.

If you would like pricing on a single license for one of these, shoot me an email.

***I don't want to quote pricing here, because those kinds of posts don't age well. Folks come by later, and think the old pricing is still in effect, etc. You can also do a monthly subscription or a yearly subscription, so it can get complicated.

There is only one contact point for Sage Timeslips sales - 800-285-0999.  You can also purchase from a certified consultant, like Nancy suggested above.
