Change Billing Format

I ran my Aged WIP report & started printing the bills to send out for the month of November, but after I printed them & approved each one after it was printed, I noticed that the bill only shows the previous amount due (if any), the current amount due & a total. The slips done in November should have been on the bill along with a description of what work was done on each slip, etc. So I read the help manual & it says to go change the billing layout & place check marks in the boxes next to the items to be shown on each bill when I generate the bill. So I change the layout to include the slip descriptions, etc. & go back to the billing assistant screen to try & click generate a bill for the month of November, and it says there is no data for this period. But, when I go to reprint the last bill, it says the same thing. I am so confused & I am new to timeslips anyway so this is really thrown me for a loop & my boss is freaking out bc he can’t figure it out either. Someone please help!!

When you ran the bills that showed previous, current and total. Were the numbers any different than last month? Did it add any charges?

It is HIGHLY unlikely that the solution here will have anything to do with the layout. I think that is a red herring.

What does your current Aged WIP report say? Still have the same numbers as before you ran the billing?

Finally, are you actually using Timeslips Anywhere? Which is a cloud based program.

Or are you running Timeslips Premium, which is an on premise product (think traditional software installed on the machines in your office).
