Users Vs. Licenses and Adding Timekeepers for TimeSlips Go

Solved

I am one of the 2 admins now for Timeslips Go at our company. The other admin generally enters his own time and is showing as a timekeeper. I enter time for the other 3 employees after they have manually written the time down so I need them to appear in the drop down menu as timekeepers.  How do I add them to this? Do they have to be set up as users?  We currently pay for 2 licenses on our Sage Subscription.  One for me and one for the other admin.  Do we have to have a license for each timekeeper/user?

Yes, that is correct. For a timekeeper’s name to appear in the Timekeeper drop-down list when entering slips in Timeslips GO, that timekeeper must also be configured as a user in GO.

Currently, you only have two users provisioned in GO, which is why you only see two names available in the drop-down list.

To make additional timekeepers available, you will need to:

    1. Add the user in User Management
      https://ceum.na.sage.com/

    2. Onboard the user
When the user is created, an invitation email will be sent to their email address. They must click the link in that email to complete the onboarding process.

    3. Link the user to the timekeeper in Timeslips Premium

      • Open the Timekeeper record in Timeslips Premium.

      • Enter the user’s email address in the GO Email field.

    4. Run a Sync
After syncing, a corresponding timekeeper record will be created in the GO database, which will then make that timekeeper available in the drop-down list for slip entry.

Unfortunately, there isn’t a workaround for this requirement. Each timekeeper that needs to appear in GO must be provisioned as a licensed GO user, even if you are the one entering their time on their behalf.
