Total / Partial Import is frequent activity in Web Scheduling. This is done through the Landing Page in the Control Tower of Bricks.

This landing page has set of default parameter. 

• Plant: Plant data to import.
• Scheduling Start Date: define the beginning of the scheduling horizon
• Max Days Scheduling: maximum length of the scheduling horizon (starting from Scheduling Start Date)
• Material Check: allows to import data considering First Date Material Availability (True) or to import data considering materials as infinite capacity (False)

Users may have to change these default parameters as per their preference every time they run Total or Partial Import

We can preset these parameters individually at user level in Sage-Interface.json in Layout of individual users under Company chart through the following steps:

Step 1: ACM User Role access

Verify / assign “brk_Admin” role to the user who can do the necessary changes for another user, ideally “Administrator”

Step 2: Open Company Chart

• Select Default
• Select Edit Configuration

• In Edit Configuration
• Select Application Bricks

In the Company Chart > Edit Configuration window when we select Default user we find  "sage-interface.json" under Layouts

But when we select user "Administrator" we find the user does not have the Presentation > Layouts at this moment 

To address this, we

• Select Default user and …
• Select Copy Configuration

• In copy node window select user “Administrator”
• Save

Now use “Administrator” has Layouts and can access Sage-interface.json

• Select “Sage-interface.json”
• Right click select “Edit”

As per my preference I want to change default parameter

1. Plant: “NA012” to “AU012”
2. Material Check: Unselected

To make the above changes we will take these steps

• Click anywhere in Line 1 of "sage-interface.jason" and Press CTL +F
• Find & replace option will now be available
• Find “FR012” and replace with “AU012” – 2 places need to be changed
• Select Replace all
• Save

Repeat the same the above steps for Material check, change default value from true to false

• Completely log off  from all open windows of Web scheduling for the user .
• Login back to verify

As we notice we have now Plant parameter set to “AU012” and “Material Check” is not selected
