In the case if your recurring tasks are not working as expected, hereafter are some tips that you might need to take into consideration. In this post, I will refer to MRP Process and Account interface as reference.

1. MRP Process task (FUNMRP)

• This is the task setup for MRP Process recurring task as standard.

• This is the parameter setup. Please note that the Reference date is default today date.

*** ISSUE: Once the MRP process is done, if you look at the Log file, the system doesn’t update the reference date. It remains the reference date as the date that’s default in the parameter.

*** How to fix it?

• This is how the system is designed.
• To get it updated correctly, the reference date must be BLANK in the parameter.

• The task needs to be validated and resubmitted.

• The reference date is now updated accordingly in the log file.

2. Account Interface task (FUNSTKACC)

• This is the recurring task setup for FUNSTKACC

As you can see, even the batch task proceeded successfully but no stocks journals being created.

*** How to fix it?

• Relative date condition must be defined at Recurring task setup as below:

Voila, the FUNSTACC can process accordingly now.
