Managing how stock movements are posted to the General Ledger (GL) is essential for clean financials and traceable inventory accounting. In Sage X3, the ACCIFA accounting interface parameter controls whether (and when) stock movements generate accounting entries.
The settings can be found in Setup, General parameters, Chapter STO (Inventory), Group ACC, Accounting interface, ACCIFA.

There are three options for this parameter:
Yes
Yes (auto deletion)
No
When ACCIFA is set to Yes, Sage X3 will create accounting entries for stock transactions that are associated with an automatic journal code.
- If a stock movement does not have an automatic journal code assigned, no posting is generated even with “Yes” selected.
- Movements with an automatic journal will be posted to GL.
- Movements without an automatic journal will not be posted.
When Yes (auto deletion) is selected, the setting behaves like Yes, plus it automatically posts entries upon deletion of a movement.
- Deleting a movement (for example, cancelling an incorrect delivery) triggers automatic posting so your financials stay synchronized without using a manual posting function.
- This option is used when frequent corrections are processed and you want the GL to automatically reflect deleted entries.
When No is selected, No posting is selected; stock movements do not create accounting entries regardless of automatic journal configuration.
- This option can be used in testing environments, during cutovers, or when you need to pause postings while you review mapping in automatic journals.
- The inventory quantities will be updated, but no GL entry will be created.
