  • Looks like I get to be first!

    Hello all,

I'm Chris, one of the Product Mentors for Sage X3 North America. I've been working at Sage for quite some time (about 12 years now). I started my Sage Career in Sage 100 ERP (MAS90) and eventually made my way around product categories and landed on Sage X3 product line.  I primarily handle Escalations for Technical and Development driven cases along with a various array of network, database, cross product, training, implementation, Beta QA, cross regional support, and the list goes on….

Some things about me: Before I came to Sage, I was working for an Environmental Engineer firm designing projects and reporting. I have degrees in Environmental Sciences, Art, Digital Animation, and Graphic Design. As you can see, none of these are computer based. Computers are a huge hobby of mine, and I turned it into a career (a story for another day).

Outside of work I am an avid gamer along with my kids. We have plenty of gaming sessions together on Destiny, Diablo4, Minecraft or any other multi-player games.  We love the outdoors, especially hiking and traveling. Being located where I am we also spend plenty of weekends at the beach.  I’m highly involved in our local soccer community and my kids all play in competitive clubs (some world known). I do a fair share of volunteering in soccer like coaching, refereeing (US Soccer certified) and helping with events.

  • Greetings everyone,

I am Vanessa, a product mentor for Sage X3 North America. I have been with Sage for nearly 18 years, beginning my journey by supporting Sage 100. After a brief stint with Sage CRM, I transitioned to Sage X3, where I have specialized in distribution and manufacturing. Currently, I work as a product mentor, helping teams navigate and optimize the Sage X3 product to drive efficiency and success. Also, I handle escalations and report issues to R&D.

  • Hello all,

I am Phil Kennedy, an advisory analyst. Having had the pleasure of supporting multiple Sage products, over 23 years, I was provided the opportunity to work with many internal colleagues, partners and customers, than I would have otherwise.

If I am not on shift, you will find me on my road bike, at the gym or hanging out with family and neighbors. Gardening is my special therapy and having learned much about this discipline over the years, nothing has died in the last several months, that I did not pull out of the ground myself.

I look forward to answering more posts on this community and I encourage everyone to participate in this program, by adding your own responses and tips. This will greatly enrich the value of the Community hub.

  • Hello world,

I'm Neville, and I've been a dedicated member of the X3 product team for nearly six years. I initially joined as a Senior Technical Analyst, and two years ago, I laterally transitioned into the role of Product Mentor. In this capacity, I focus on resolving complex cases, providing guidance to fellow analysts, and collaborating closely with the L3 and development teams to address escalations and reported issues.

Outside of work, I'm passionate about disc golf. I've been playing for over 25 years and have competed at a high level, participating in hundreds of events. I've also had the pleasure of captaining and running tournaments as a Tournament Director. Our teams have achieved multiple titles, including 7x Ryder Cup Champions, 3x BC Doubles Champions, 2x Team BC Provincial Champions, BC Club Champion, and even winning gold for Team Canada at the World Team Championships. (Yes, that makes me a World Champion!)

You could say I'm a team player through and through!

Looking forward to working with all of you and sharing our successes together.
