We have detected an issue with Print Server 3.0 causing ghost sessions with high CPU usage and erratic printing. If you are having issues with the latest Print server (3.0) please follow the temporary workaround below:
A temporary solution for now, if you have installed Print Server 3.0, is to revert to Print Server 2.30 (2024 R1).
Print Server 2.30 is a 32-bit application, please follow the instructions below:
- Unpublish the solution from Print Server 3.0 in the Console
- Un-configure the Print Server in the Console
- Uninstall Print Server 3.0 completely
- Use the Windows uninstaller to uninstall the two Crystal Reports components (32-bit and 64-bit)
- Install Print Server 2.30 and Configure it through the Console
- Publish the Solution through Print Server 2.30
