These new versions of Syracuse Server includes the following update(s):

  • In Patch management, you can create patches in an EasyPatching format that can be integrated through the EasyPatching API.
  • Two patch types are now supported:
    • Hotfixes: For internal Sage use, enabling delivery of official Sage hotfixes in the EasyPatching format
    • Add‑ons: For partners and customers, enabling the creation of add‑on patches in an EasyPatching format
    • These patches can be integrated with the aid of EasyPatching, either via the UI or through API mode."
  • "Syracuse allows entering domainless URLs in outbound REST Web Services"
    • Improvements have been made to verify that the entered URL is indeed an absolute HTTP(S) URL; otherwise, the entry will fail and, for saved URLs, the parameter will be ignored.
  • "The registration in Sage Network (E-invoicing) is no longer a prerequisite for using DCC. Only the Organisation registration is required; the company is automatically registered."
    • Please be aware that only one Organisation by application is allowed.
