Can Sage X3 Excel Add-In support Online Web Microsoft365 Office Excel or Google Sheets?

Reference:  Sage X3 Support: Installing the Microsoft Excel add-in 

As per title, can Sage X3 Excel Add-In support online web Microsoft365 or Google Sheets?

If not, what would be my alternative to workaround this limitation when I have a Sage X3 Excel file that ask for Sage X3 Excel Add-In to be installed and enabled?

For reference, when I use the Google Sheets on a Sage X3 Excel file.

    Unfortunately you cannot. there is no alternative. The Excel addin along with the other office addins are not compatible with web based apps. This is per the technical online help guides. They do support office 365 but it still requires a localized installed version.

    Note:

    • Office and Outlook as part of Office 365 do not have support for Office online.
    • To use Crystal Reports Designer 2016 and 2020, the Print Server version must be ≥ 2.18.
