EvoBicMetaData folder in Azure in OneDrive rather than file share?

Morning All, 

Anyone implemented the following and it worked?

Any recommendations on how to implement the SIR Repository (EvoBICMetaData) folder in Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) environments? Specifically - could they be placed on OneDrive rather than a file share?

    With many installations now moving to Azure, and AVD environments, OneDrive, in conjunction with SharePoint, is the standard technology for file sharing, whilst file shares are generally considered a historical technology, therefore not considered a good fit in the latest environments...
