Our goal at Sage is to remove obstacles so you and your businesses can succeed. In line with this, we are dedicated to streamlining our processes and enhancing our service delivery. After thorough research, we have decided to handle all financial transactions through new accounts with Standard Chartered Bank. This is a positive step towards simplifying our payment platforms to better support our customers. In the first phase, we started transitioning customers making payments to Standard Bank from 01 February 2024.
For the second phase, we will transition our remaining customers who currently pay via EFT to ABSA and Nedbank starting 01 June 2024. Please be aware that the ABSA bank account for our customers will be closed on 31 July 2024 and the Nedbank account will be closed on 30 November 2024. We have already updated your statements as of 31 May 2024 and invoices from 01 June 2024 to show our new Standard Chartered bank details. However, since this is not a regular occurrence for Sage, please verify the change through our Sage Compliance Portal or contact us at 086 123 7243 if you have any questions.
As a reminder, we encourage all customers to always use their Customer Account Number for our Accounting Products or their Site Code for our Payroll Products as a reference when making payments to Sage.
