Hello,
Please how do I set my currency to naira on Sage 50C Pastel?
Good day Akin,
If Naira is your home currency, the company you create will use Naira as your home currency. If you would like to have the Naira symbol to show on your invoices and reports, go to Setup | Company Parameters | Formats, and enter the Naira symbol under the Currency Symbol.
However, if Naira is a foreign currency, you will need to have the Multi-Currency add-on module to enable you to use foreign currencies. For detailed information on this module, please refer to this article: https://za-kb.sage.com/portal/app/portlets/results/viewsolution.jsp?solutionid=200129163652999&page=1&position=1&q=multi%20currency&searchaliases=custom_za_en_fiftycloud;

I hope this helps in resolving your query.

Mapule.

Thank you Mapule for your response. The currency symbol does not accept the naira sign automatically. Rather, it shows a question mark. I even tried copying the symbol from the character map. Please how do I copy it properly?
Hi Akin,
I will investigate and get back to you.
Hi Akin,
Kindly note that the issue has been logged as bug number PPAS-318 Cannot use currency symbol for Nigerian Naira.
Hi Mapule,
Thank you for the update. The NGN code is a good alternative. However, I still look forward to any additional information on using the actual naira symbol.
Regards,
Akinkunmi
