Sage 50C - Intelligence Reporting

Suggested

I can open the Report Manager in Pastel Partner 50C, but I cannot import a compressed export file (al) using the Tools- Import Report option in the Report Manager.

I get an error saying "An Unexpected Error Occurred”

Error Number : (52)

Description: Bad file name or number

Source: [PLinOut]

I did run a repair on Sage Intelligence, no change.

I have been running SI reports and importing reports for some time now without any issues?

Any ideas how to fix this?

I tried the steps suggested by a member, We Do Software, but if I try and open the folder/document on “Run Open” I get the message :”Windows cannot find pcc”

    To recap:

I have Action PSQL v13 Workgroup R2 installed on a Windows 10 PC.

I am using a laptop with Windows 10 installed as the operating system.

    Hi Dawie,

If you are unable to run PCC:

    • Go to Control Centre
    • Select Actian PSQL v13 Workgroup
    • Click on Uninstall/Change
    • Click on Next...Modify...Next
    • Make sure PSQL Control Center is activated, as per the screenshot below.

Thank you once again for your interest and response.

    Unfortunately, the issue persists overall.

The inability to locate PCC could also be attributed to the errors listed below, which appear when I boot the PC.

    1. "Couldn't load main class"

I have been informed that the error "Couldn't load main class" is related to Java.

    1. “Word could not create the work file. Check the temp environment variable”

Interestingly, in my efforts to resolve the issue, I created a new user on the PC, uninstalled and reinstalled Sage Partner, Pervasive, and Sage Intelligence.

Surprisingly, the problem was resolved for the new user, while it remains for the original user.?
