 The use pdf option is grayed so emailing payslips on pdf is not allowed they must manually send the payslips to themselves and then individually email the payslips on pdf one by one which can be a lot of admin so the reason why its because payroll wont open that feature cause they say according to law emailing payslips contains sensitive information and which it must always be password protected,

 To open their zipp folder their passwords are in the employee Masterfile(Masterfile then personal tab then contact details the payroll admin will see their password)

Sage is really falling being the times with their software. Many other platforms can email password protected pdf files without zipping them. 

Very disappointing.

I understand,  I also had to send payslips and I ended up sending them one by one.  In the end I used SAGE ESS.
Employees had to download their own payslips.
