When you launch your payroll for the first time, the following message will display of you are a Super User:
You will have the option to Update Now or Later:
- Update Now will apply the new update and convert the company data to the new version, and apply the new changes. This is recommended to be done only if all your companies are in new pay period
- Later will allow you to continue to work on the current version (for example you have not rolled into a new pay period)
Take note: If you select to update to the new version, you will not be able to revert back to the previous version. Any changes as result of the recalculation will need to be applied manually.
When you select to update, you receive the following options subject to the first company number in your system:
You can select to:
- Update all the companies (recommended)
- Update the specific company (can be selected per company)
- Delete the specific company (if not used anymore)
- Skip this company (which will not update the data, and will ask to update every time the system is launched)
- Exit the system (continue the process later)
We recommend to tick 'Make Backup Before Updating"
