We’ve refreshed the look and enhanced several features to improve your Sage Payroll Professional experience. While the interface remains familiar, you’ll notice smoother navigation, clearer actions, and more control over key functions.

Log in, Trial, and Migration Enhancements

• Login Button: Now located at the top-right of the screen for easier access
• Trial Access: Remains in the same location as before
• Migration Journey:
  • A more intuitive process to activate and upload your data during sign-up
  • New full-screen upload experience for company and system-wide payroll files
  • Improved progress bars and clear verification steps (see who receives the verification code)

Active Payroll Subscriptions

• Fresh visual update with a rounded “Launch Payroll” button

• We’ll notify you automatically when a new update is available so you can stay current

Enhanced 'More Actions' Menu

• Located under the Actions menu, this new button gives quick access to:
  
  • Retrieve backups
  • Upload payroll data (migrations)
  • Tax Year-End Management
  • Reset users (helpful if files are locked)

• When retrieving a backup:
  • The selection screen now opens full screen
  • You can view available backups and a history of all backups (retrieved or replaced)
  • Option to reset users is available for locked files

Tax Year-End Improvements

• Tax Year-End instances now open in full screen, making it easier to manage
• Select the desired year and launch that specific instance
• Reset users from within the Year-End instance without affecting your live payroll data

Training Instance Enhancements

• Accessed via the Manager Training Quick Link
• You can now write and submit exams directly in the platform

User Invitation Validation

• When inviting a new user, Sage will now verify the email address against their Sage account to ensure proper linkage

Trial Subscription Experience

• A streamlined journey for trial users
