On 31 October 2025, the Angolan Government submitted the draft law for the 2026 State Budget to Parliament.
One key proposal is an increase in the PIT (Personal Income Tax) exemption on employment income from AOA 100,000 to AOA 150,000.
What does this mean?
- The first band of the tax table will shift:
- Income up to AOA 150,000 will be tax-free.
- All subsequent brackets will start from this new threshold.
We expect updates to the monthly tax table once the final text is published.
