We’ve identified an issue affecting Kenya P9 Tax Deduction Card report in Sage VIP Premier for users who installed the following software files:
- Patch deployed | Sage Payroll Professional Release 6.5a - Kenya and Malawi (deployed 5 December 2025)
- Product update | Sage Payroll Professional Release 6.5b available now (deployed 16 January 2026)
What is the issue?
We've clarified that on the P9 report, the 'Benefit - Non Cash' field should only include the taxable portion, and not the full value of the benefit.
The report included in the patch and 6.b update includes the full value as linked on the Kenya reports setup.
How do resolve this issue?
The updated report will be included with our next update, Release 6.6a, scheduled for release mid-March 2026.
