A patch file is now available on the Sage Portal for Sage VIP Classic and Premier Release 6.3b on 14 February 2025.
Included in the patch file:
- Ghana: SSNIT maximum insurable limit increase effective January 2025
- Kenya: Non-cash benefit limit correction
Take note:
- This is an additional download for Sage VIP Premier Release 6.3b, and is not included in the installation file available on the Sage Portal
- For more information: Additional Notes Release 6.3b Patch 25.02.14
- The patch file should not be installed on any system prior to Release 6.3b system
How do I download and install the patch files?
Take note: It is always recommended to perform a full system backup before extracting any new program files to your application.
- Access the Sage Portal
- Click Product Updates
- Select your payroll product Sage VIP Premier
- Select Release 6.3b
- Scroll down and locate Patch File 25.02.14 in the Additional Downloads section
- Extract the contents of the .ZIP file to you system folder, and select to overwrite the existing files
- Perform a General Recalculation to apply the changes (will be applied in the current pay period)
