  • Morning

I have 4 employees that do not have tax numbers and have since left no forwarding contact numbers. I cannot log into e filing as i am having some issues.  My test file failed because of the missing tax number. Will i still be able to import the live file.

    Thanks

    Carol

Hello Carol, yes, for midyear submissions tax numbers aren't mandatory, but will be for tax year-end submissions. This provides you with some time to obtain the numbers from SARS, before the next submission period April to May 2025.

On the test run, the validation does indicate missing tax numbers, however you can still generate a test file if you select "yes".
