The South African Revenue Service (SARS) released an updated version of the SARS e@syFile™ Employer software for the 2025/2026 Employer Reconciliation year end submissions.
This update includes the income tax number requirement validation for employees as per the Business Requirement Specification.

Where to get the new software
- Download the software from the eFiling website.
- Click on the e@syFile™ Employer logo to access the download site.
- Alternatively, the system will prompt you to update when opening the application.
