Can someone please explain how to process the April20 TERS payment on VIP Payroll?

1. We have made the copy system and restored April 2020. 

2. We restored the April20 backup into the copy system, created the TERS line on the earnings definition and made the necessary adjustments to the salary and moved the salaries to the TERS line.

3. On the live system, on the HS Tab we adjusted the SDL, UIF, created the TERS line and moved the salaries to the TERS line accordingly.

We were told that once we do this on the live system the PAYE will be adjusted accordingly in the period which we were in (which was August2020).

But the PAYE on the APRIL2020 copy system and adjusted amount on the Live system (August2020) is different.

What is the correct procedure?
