However, to answer your question, please take note of the changes that were brought in with the latest update and this is discussed in the Release Notes, I will extract for you here:

We have updated the system runtime from 10.0.1 to 10.5.0. Due to the new runtime, the way in which Print Previews are rendered in the system has changed.

With regards to the logo, my suggestion would be that you just go and link it again under Miscellaneous Screen again.

We have run the up-date and now on one of the workstations we cant log in after a restart as well.

Get an error message VCRUNtime40 and mfc140.dll and the program suggest an reinstall of the program.

Can you please assist?

This can be resolved by copying the runtime file from the payroll folder to the user affected's PC - then run runtime on their PC. The file is called SageVIPRuntime.exe

Can you please provide me with the steps?

New runtime on Classic 6.1a - printing from html file. Further to this discussion I would like to know if anyone else is disliking this new method of printing as much as I am? I run a small payroll bureau and I email payslips to clients for them to check and confirm. When printing the html to PDF the size of the file is huge and I am no longer able to email it - I have to send it via We transfer so the client can download it on their side. The Call centre suggested I zip it when printing from Classic however this creates individual payslips and the client would need to open each payslip separately instead of it being on one document to scroll down. I was also advised that the Devlp Team are looking at how to print smaller files and I do hope this is the case and that it happens sooner rather than later. Not happy at the moment.

I have noticed that the logo appears on the html if it is a square but if it is a rectangle then it does not

I received the following feedback from Sage regarding this: The rectangular logo is currently being investigated by the development team. The current workaround is to resize the logo to a square and use a square instead of the rectangular logo.
The turnaround time to have this resolved has not yet been communicated.
