Provident Fund MOC

SUGGESTED

Good Day,

I want to link new employees to the Provident Fund MOC. I've captured the start date on the IS screen, but after linking the employee to the method, no amount appears on the PS screen.  Old employees are linked to the same method and their amounts appear. Am I doing something wrong?

    Hello ,

When a retirement fund calculation does not calculate a value, it is usually 2 things:

    • No fund start date (which you have entered, to be as from the start of the pay period)
    • The calculated value is zero

The best place to start looking at this issue, is to review the method of calculation. It is possible the calculation might require the employee to be linked to another line (e.g. the Calculation screen).

Please let us know if the suggestion resolved your issue.
