Is there an update before we do mid-year submissions?

Until when should we wait before extracting files and submit to accountant.

    Hello ,

    The mid-year filing season (knowns as the Interim Employer Reconciliation) will start on 16 September 2024. and will run until 31 October 2024.

    Sage will release a new update, Release 6.3a,  with the IRP5 changes for the 2024/2025 tax year and reports with this update on the 16th of September.

    SARS is expected to release a new version of e@syFile Employer for the filing season.

    We recommend to export the IRP5/IT3a report files once you have updated your payroll software to the latest version on the 16th of September, to align with the latest SARS specifications and to be compatible with the latest SARS software.
