Hi Marius, I am getting the same errors. It initially accepted the data but then asked that I update the software. After updating, I now am receiving this error.
I also imported the Mid Year txt file which "passed" import. I also logged a query with SARS with screen shots...no response yet. If you able to resolve, please share

Hi Marius. I had a similar issue where Easyfile just would not accept my login details. So I restarted the service and it came right.
Steps to Restart the e@syFile Server
Open the Run dialog box: Press the Windows key + R on your keyboard.
Type "services.msc" and press Enter: This command will open the Services window.
Locate the EasyFileServer service: Scroll through the list of services to find one named "EasyFileServer".
Right-click on the service: A context menu will appear.
Select "Restart": This will stop and then restart the e@syFile server process

Hi Neil. This did not work for me, unfortunately. Still have the same problem. Did you do this restart on the updated version?
Also tried this fix but didn’t work. SARS indicated that the technicians are looking into the problem. SARS recommended deleting and restoring from previous backup. That also didn’t work for me

Hi all. I have had the same problem since last week Monday. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling e@syfile but the problem persists. Please let me know if anyone has heard back from SARS or if you have managed to resolve the issue. PS. Note: Our auditor uploaded my payroll file on her e@syfile (laptop) and she could accept the data and login to efiling and yet I cannot do it on my laptop. I have also tried to install e@syfile on another laptop, but the error persists.

Our team received confirmation from SARS that they will implement a fix on 3 October 2025 for all affected employers who get the message "An error occurred while performing your request. Please try again later.” trying to sync.
Hi all. I went through the steps of completely uninstalling Easyfile, restarting, and reinstalling Easyfile. Then restored my backup made AFTER submitting the Feb'25 EMP501's, and so far managed to submit my Aug'25 EMP501's. Glad to hear SARS will implement the fix.
