I need to investigate Global Access Control, but when I activate the module, it immediately takes me to the login screen, asking for my user name and password.  I don't know what the user name and password is. Where do I get it? From there how do I get to setup the super user as I am the super user?

Is there anyone that's got experience with the Global Access Control that can advise if it's been a struggle and wish they never implemented it?
