The best route here is to log this issue with Sage X3 Customer Services South Africa.

There is a lot of missing information on your request.

If you are using User Delegates, this option may be used to define a new user who may sign workflows without a regular signatory user.

For more information, kindly log a Smart Sheets query, it will be assigned to a consultant who will assist you with this.

Update your assignment rule/s to the new user.
Add a space to any free text/description field and save on the transaction for which the updated assignment rule should be applied. (assuming it is awaiting approval based on the previous assignment rule)
The approval will be reassigned according to the new assignment rule.
