The context:
The Customer is looking at only Finance & Distribution Licenses
The Scenario:
They want to be able to Design an Item that they want to be able to cost and then send that Finished/Parent Product & its components
for a RFQ or PR to be sent to the supplier for manufacturing
They are not going to manufacture them selves
So as a practical example:
They want "X" number of quantity of cushions.
1 cushion consists of:
500mm x 500mm of fabric
200grams of micro fiber
1x Zipper
They then want to create 200 cushions
X3 should then suggest the quantity of each component for the 200 cushions
This is possible when I use Commercial Kitting (or atleast got to the point of X3 suggesting the component Quantity)
The Problem I have run into is I can't create a RFQ or PR for the Comm Kitt or from the Kitting tool
I understand the Comm Kitt Is part of Sales Module and I now asking the Purchasing module to order these Items
Do you have any suggestions ?
Perhaps I shouldn't use Comm Kitts?
Would still need to Explode the BOM if I used Subcontracting BOM

I suppose what also would might work is to add a Parent Product to the PR lines but when we add the item to the PR
we could explode the Parent Product into its component level items
