Technical chat has been introduced and improved since the 2014.3 update and continues in the 2015 product as a fast way to get support. In order to access support chat just go to Help in any open company window and then select Chat with Technical Support (for other ways to reach chat go here.) For any issues accessing chat, like blank windows or browser based problems the following solutions should help.

For some users when they try to open the chat window the whole window will disappear, or crash. This can be fixed by adding na.sage.com in the compatibility view settings of Internet Explorer(47437 or 50604).

Guidance on how to access Internet Explorer compatibility view can be found here and is applicable to most current versions of Internet Explorer. Also if you are having issues with Internet Explorer on your system the following work around can allow Chat to be launched in other browsers (53175).

Another related issue is when connecting to Support Chat (or to the Customer Portal) the page is blank. This is solved in the same way as the above issue (Internet Explorer set to Compatibility Mode). Instructions on how to do that can be found in article 10977. With Internet Explorer in Compatibility View most issues with Chat should be solved, and Technical Support can be accessed from Monday to Friday 6am to 5pm PT (9am to 8pm ET).
