Emailed copies of AR invoices have disappeared

Good Afternoon:

We have just recently started to use the email feature to send customers copies of their invoices and statements. We use Outlook 2010 32-bit. 

I set up a folder in Outlook where I park all my AR Correspondence. From my sent folder I move customer emails to my AR Correspondence folder. When I go back into my AR folder I cannot see the emails that went from Sage to the customer. Until I am able to find them I have not moved any more.

I have searched the Microsoft website for help but what I found there has not helped me.

I am wondering if anyone else has run into this and knows how to find the missing emails and fix it.

    Might be a better idea to just copy the emails to the A/R Correspondence folder. Rightclick on the email in Sent folder, select Move and then scroll down t bottom to Copy to Folder.

    That way both folders will have the emails in them.

    Have you also tried entering an email address of one of your customer in the search box - and click on Search all folders?

    Thank you for the search tip. That worked if I searched on an invoice number and not the recipient. This is what happens when it is moved from the sent folder to the AR folder.

        My folder is sorted by Date

        When I move the email the Date does not come with it and the date changes to None and goes to the bottom of my email list.

    So, when I was looking by date, i wasn't looking far enough down my saved emails.
