Emailed copies of AR invoices have disappeared

Good Afternoon:

We have just recently started to use the email feature to send customers copies of their invoices and statements. We use Outlook 2010 32-bit. 

I set up a folder in Outlook where I park all my AR Correspondence. From my sent folder I move customer emails to my AR Correspondence folder. When I go back into my AR folder I cannot see the emails that went from Sage to the customer. Until I am able to find them I have not moved any more.

I have searched the Microsoft website for help but what I found there has not helped me.

I am wondering if anyone else has run into this and knows how to find the missing emails and fix it.
