I work for a local government that offers a pre-authorized payment as a method of collecting taxes. Some accounts will have a balance owing (invoice already created) while other accounts will be paying "deposit" amounts against next years taxes (so there is no invoice). Can a deposit (made through the receipts journal) be a recurring transaction. We collect these payments through the EFT Direct add-on to Sage 50CA (version 2018).
Does anyone have a better method?
