The 2014 entry is probably the result of make a change to a journal entry from a prior period and the reconciliation was not cleared properly because it did not show up on the then current reconciliation journal. There is not easy way to clear this entry without affecting the bank account which I am assuming is balanced and reconciled to a current month. If you must clear this entry you would have to reset the reconciliation which clears all of them from history. You then set up the reconciliation file again and start to redo the last couple of months and carry on from there. To think about this option you would require a reconciliation report from last month or the one before that which shows all of the outstanding items at the date of reconciliation. This would assist with setting up the new reconciliation file.
