There's probably a tech note on this forum for your question, if you searched for the error message and didn't find anything, try this:

I believe you can just download and install the 2015.3 release:

And then reinstall or repair your 2019 release from the Windows installation screen (to fix the file associations, etc.)

If you need a serial number for the 2015.3, I think you can get an educational license at:

I'm sorry, I'm not sure I understand correctly. I would be downloading the 2015.3 version to try and get her information on that and then eventually add it to my 2019 program or I run the 2 versions separately? Each company would have it's own Sage 50?

After installing 2015, it may be best to reinstall the 2019 version as Windows will default to launching the 2015 version icon. You don't have to reinstall if you can manually set the shortcuts to open the newest version.

Sage 50 2019.1 download (FULL PRODUCT) Download (if not already installed).

Yes that would work as well. I believe we updated the look of Sage 50 CA's user interface / icons in the 2016 version so upgrading will look a little different to your colleague on the 2013 version. However, the main screens within the icons still look the same as before.

So she updated the version on her USB stick, I plugged it into my computer at work and everything was fine (I use this at my full time job as well). I brought the USB stick home and then this is the message I get with my program

What am I doing wrong?? The Sage 50 pro version I bought is the 2019 from Staples and downloaded it online. Did I make a mistake? My other set of books works fine.......I'm definitely not techy!

It appears as if the version at work is different than the version you have at home. Update your home version with the latest update 2019.1 and it should work fine.
